Actor Jet li has recieved the most votes to play goku in fox's new Dragonball Z movie to be released in summer of 2003. With choices were between actors Jet li, Jackie chan, Keanu Reeves,and others the decision was a hard one. Personally I feel that the actor who plays Goku should not be asian because in the tv series goku is not ment to be asian, Japan tried to make them as american as possible.
